Autumn leaves reflections

June 18, 2018  •  1 Comment

A few weeks ago, I attended the Australia Aperture Photography Conference in Sydney, Australia.  This conference I believe is the very first photography conference that held in Australia where some well known Australian photographers shared their journey and ideas on stage.  Many of the speakers inspired me with their photos and ideas.  One of them is Murray Fredericks where he uses a mirror as a reflection on his images.
After sourcing where to get a movable mirror, I went to shoot some trees in the park.  My idea was to get two trees into a photo, one reflected on the mirror standing next to another tree.  I spent quite a lot of time adjusting the mirror to get the tree in the mirror.  I realised that I could not do it without the help of another person.
So I decided to change my theme on the spot, I put the mirror flat on the ground to get the reflection of the leaves of the tree amongst the falling leaves.  Here are the results of the shoot.

I would love to hear your thoughts about the photos. Leave your comments below. And share them with your firends if you like the images.

Thank you.
